In the 1980s, Chi Chia wei presented condoms while dressing up as Snow White, Jesus, or a mummy. His radicalism has received a lot of attention from the media, as well as discrimination from the public. As a volunteer committed to letting more people know about AIDS, he organized a press conference and became the first person in Taiwan to do so. In 2017, the constitutional ruling made him a hero of the gay community. The 30 year struggle seems to have achieved its ultimate goal.
